This is the first of my 'animal portraits'. I started it about - 2 years ago. I work on it in-between deadline work. It seems quite different in style for me but it's not. It is VERY different from my commercial work that most people see. But it's not an outlier in my personal work. I've always done a lot of very meticulous painterly work. I have 5 pencil roughs ready to go when I get some time. Painted in Photoshop.
